Educational purpose
TracingsMD provides a free beta ECG simulator, recorded learning examples and lessons. Every generated trace is synthetic and SIMULATED · NOT FOR DIAGNOSIS. Use it for learning and educational media. A rhythm label, model measurement or quiz score is not a clinical finding, professional qualification or assessment of competence.
Do not use the service or an exported simulation to make patient-care decisions or replace clinical assessment, professional judgement or local protocols. An ECG alone does not establish a pulse or perfusion. Learn questions describe these teaching examples; real patients may show different or overlapping patterns.
Model assumptions and availability
The service is a beta. Some rhythm combinations and mechanisms are approximate or unsupported. Read the model limits shown in the Simulator, ECG Lab and lessons. A pacing output can occur without capture; electrical capture does not establish circulation. The service does not model drug dosing, patient-specific response or haemodynamics.
Live capacity is limited. Sessions can expire or end when you leave, the server restarts, or a connection fails. Download material you wish to keep before leaving. Browser-only reading progress and practice records depend on your browser storage and are not an account backup. We do not promise uninterrupted access or permanent recovery of a live simulation.
Responsible use and shared outputs
Do not submit patient or hospital identifiers, present a simulated output as a patient record, attack the service or try to evade its resource limits. Keep the simulation and non-diagnostic markings when sharing educational outputs. You are responsible for the context in which you share a download and for any other material you combine with it.
Access to the beta does not grant a right to copy or repackage the site's source code, branding or third-party reference material. Linked sources belong to their respective publishers and may have their own terms.
Practice scores and privacy
Learn scores count checked answers within a practice attempt; skipped questions are shown separately. Scores apply to the selected synthetic examples and concepts. They are not a clinical examination, certification or secure proctored test. The question data can be inspected in the browser.
Reading and practice saving are optional and device-local. Privacy explains simulation requests, browser storage, hosting records and email correspondence.
